Review: Agents of SHIELD Episode TRACKS

This weeks episode SHIELD was a rather a shocker. As always when I review anything there are probably going spoilers. Actually since I waited nearly a week to review it you should have had enough time to watch it, so don't complain if I spoil. 

Review for Space Dandy

Two weeks ago was the premiere of the new Anime Space Dandy. The show focused on Space Dandy, a dandy guy in space, QT his robot and an alien cat whose kinda a pervert that they named Meow. Within the first two minutes it made it clear that this show is a comedy and shouldn't be taken seriously. Basically this is a fun anime set as a space opera that both plays homage as they parody it. I'll cover basically what I've gotten for the first two episodes.

How I Met Your Mother. CBS.

This last season of How I Met Your Mother has been very disappointing.  It's the final season and there is the general idea that they bring the series to a close. This entire season seems to consists of filler episodes that all rely on cheap bits. This last episode just made me furious. Marshall goes through this huge and ridiculous story to try and freak out Barney for the next slap. Not only was the story ridiculous even for this outlandish show but it wasn't even clever. Actually this episode felt a little racist with its depiction of Asian culture. What I found really annoying is how the characters all acted about the slap beat. There in their thirties but are acting like immature teenagers, especially Marshal who has a child and is about to be a judge!

The story wasn't funny. It didn't add anything to the plot. I think the writers and crew were trying it parody the idea of kung fu movies and I'm not going to say it's outright racism but the depiction of the actors taking on kung fu slap masters and some of the things that were parodying was just awful.  I like to think they were just trying to have fun but it still felt wrong. The line "I have much gold" was actually used several time through the show. And i was like "What?!"

This season is becoming a chore to watch. The only good thing in this episode was that Boyz To Men showed up to sing the slapping song at the end. It's okay, they are good at singing but the song seemed wrong for them to sing. It felt out of place especially after having the actor introduce them just took me out of the story. I'll give this show a 0.5 out of 5 and that half a point is for Boyz To Men. Their singing was nice but really not needed and a little out of place. Other wise I would give this episode a 0. I would just skip this episode and actually from now on when I see this episode is on I'm changing the channel.

This isn't a review. This is just my wish that you guys all have a happy New year and are all safe. Last year had it's ups and downs and I can't say it's been my favorite but you know things happen and we grow because of them.

This is a review for the Christmas special and the last episode of Matt Smith as the Doctor. The special did come out yesterday so I'm warning everyone that this review will have spoilers. Psych The Musical The Review

Psych the Musical is the 110th episode of the Psych series. It's not only a two hour long special but it was one down in song, a musical. Not one of those where they rehash old song this one had all new songs. Now for those who don't know the theme song was written by the creator of the series Steve Franks.

This week aired the mid season finale of Supernatural so I'm going to review the last episode and the season thus far. There will be spoilers and so if you haven't caught up you might want to skip this review. Last chance. Let's get into it.

Review For Day of The Doctor (Doctor Who 50th Special)

This past week the long running science fiction series Doctor Who celebrated it's 50th anniversary. The episode was titled Day of the Doctor and was simultaneously aired over 80 countries. Besides getting the World Record for the longest running series they also won the record for biggest simulcast.

Funimation brings in another dubbed season of the zombie turned magical garment girl comedy. I have already reviewed the first season so if you want to check that out feel free to look back on past reviews. Since I have gone into the main cast before I'll do a quick review of some of the other characters before I go into the plot and what's good and bad about this season.

Review for Steven Universe

This week came the premiere of Steven Universe. This cartoon has been much anticipated by the people of the internet. Much of anticipation come from Rebecca Sugar the creator of this new show best known for working on Adventure Time. Rebecca Sugar talented song writer and wrote the theme song for the show. The show is light hearted and has fans hopping for something great.

The show follows Steven Universe who seems like your average boy but is in fact a members of a team of intergalactic warriors, your didn't see that coming did you? All the members of the Crystal Gems have a crystal that grants them powers to use against their fights against evil and took protect the Earth. Steven is still trying to figure out how to activate his gem, one that he inherited from his mother that happens to be located in his belly button.
